Land located in the picturesque parish of Mosteiros, with a total area of 8,600m2 - considered an agricultural reserve, it is possible to build on 20% of the land, for rural tourism purposes, or, in 5% for a house.
Mosteiros is a Portuguese parish in the municipality of Ponta Delgada, with an area of 8.98 km² and 1,123 inhabitants. Its population density is 125.1 inhabitants/km². It is located at the western end of the island, about 30 kilometers from the island's capital, Ponta Delgada and about ten from the Ferraria bathing area.
The Ilhéus dos Mosteiros are four large rocks, about a kilometer away from the coast of the parish of Mosteiros. In accordance with the Celtic tradition of monasticism on ocean rocks, these rocks gave rise to the name Mosteiros given to the parish. The rocks are what remains of a small island of hydromagmatic origin.
Praia dos Mosteiros has dark sand where two streams flow from the ridges, mountains that lie to the east and are part of the Caldera of the Sete Cidades volcano. From its sands you can see the Ilhéus dos Mosteiros, and it is one of the places where you can enjoy one of the most beautiful sunsets on the island.
